So my brother wanted a phone, because his broke awhile ago.
But he didn't have enough money to buy a new 300-500 phone from sprint.
So I suggested he just buy a refurbished no contract phone.
OF COURSE, the phone they sent has stuff wrong with it. Main problem, it doesn't charge. Charger/phone didn't work.
BUT we have insurence. So we bought this phone, took it to sprint as if we bought it from them, they replace it for free. :)

Great phone... all the features as advertised... but don't buy if you're not willing to pony up for Sprint's Data Package (despite phone assurances to the contrary made in advance of purchasing)

I was using Tracfone and their phones for 3 years because I never really used the phone...but this past semester of school, I have been getting calls/texts like crazy and was spending around $10 per week -- $40 per month. =/
I decided to research a new (prepaid) phone plan to try out, and came across a company called PlatinumTel...They had this great deal where when you purchased $100 in minutes (which don't need to be refilled for 1 year), you got this phone for free!
A lot of my classmates have the iphone and blackberries etc. I really wanted a nice phone like they had, and since it was so affordable I decided to try it out. IN FACT, I didn't believe it would be this nice, as I only purchased it because of the great deal since I am studying abroad in 5 months and will need to buy a new phone in that country -- This phone was so nice, I am bringing it with me, at least for an alarm, notepad, camera etc!
This is the iphone for those of us who like pay-as-you-go and don't want to spend a fortune!
It has a great camera, fast internet, mp3 player, television, radio, lots of games and downloadable apps. It is really pretty, and easy to use. Although I have sent a few texts and received calls, I haven't transferred my number over yet...but I LOVE this phone!
I highly recommend it!!!

The new Samsung SCH-M800 Instinct, a full touchscreen feature phone that is packed full of high tech and high enjoyment functionality. While somewhat physically large, at 55mm x 116mm x 12.4mm (2.17" x 4.57" x 0.49"), the 125g (4.4oz) Instinct doesn't seem unwieldy at all based on our experience. The version of the device's firmware that we saw running at the launch event was very much pre-production, but the Samsung folks were still able to show off an impressive amount of functionality.
