This is probably the best baby thing I've bought. It is the ONLY blanket that is big enough to swaddle my baby in. It's just the perfect size. Also, it's breathable and not so heavy that he overheats at night. If we didn't have these blankets I have no idea how we would ever get the baby to sleep. I was hesitant about buying them, as they are so expensive, but the reviews were so good I figured we'd try them. I'm SO glad we did. Not one second of regret.

I bought this girly version for a friend who is having a baby later this month because my son loves these blankets. They have beautiful, modern patterns, get softer every time we wash them, are the absolute perfect size for swaddling a little one and they're breathable. I didn't have to worry about this blanket finding its way over his face as my son got older and broke out of his swaddle. Now that we've been out of the swaddle stage for about 5 months, these blankets are still useful every day. I use them as nursing covers, a security blanket for my little guy, to lay on top of the changing table if the cover is dirty, the uses are endless. Be careful around velcro though - they stick to velcro (like the velcro on my diaper bag) and it is maddening trying to get them off without snagging them. My best advice is to approach the situation slowly.

These lightweight, airy blankets are the perfect swaddling blankets. My baby loved being swaddled in them from the day she came home from the hospital. I wish I'd had them for my first 3!! They're also perfect for putting over the carseat or stroller to keep the sun off the baby.
